“Let’s all share the incredible, life-changing Ashtanga practice…”

Karen Rennie Karen Rennie opened the Miyoga Shala in 2014 after many years of commitment to learning and teaching.  Karen attended her first Ashtanga class in 2000 and has been practicing ever since.  She journeyed to India in 2005 for 3 months intensive study in the traditional Mysore style of Ashtanga yoga, including asana, pranayama, mantra, meditation and yogic philosophy.  She continues expand her knowledge, and her own personal daily practice.
 Angie Barclay Angie Barclay has been practicing yoga for 16 years, and began Ashtanga a few years ago.  Angie’s desire to find out more about the Ashtanga practice led to her teacher training with the Classical Yoga School. Angie began the course to enhance her own personal practice but soon realised she wanted to teach. Angie has a strong personal practice and believes that being a busy mum of two, it can be hard to find a good balance in life – practicing Ashtanga has enabled her to do this.
